This piece is one of a set of thirteen. The book tells the story of my own wonder at the tigers living at Carolina Tiger Rescue in Pittsboro, NC, where I volunteer. It focuses primarily on one tiger, Rajah, who was found with his sister wandering along the highway in Charlotte. As well as talking about the absurd laws that regulate exotic animal ownership. It's legal to own a tiger in North Carolina but not a squirrel.
